How far are my radios going to communicate? The indicated communication scope is calculated in optimal conditions, with a clear line of view. The actual scope may vary depending on the terrain and conditions and is often less than the maximum possible. Its actual scope will be limited by a number of factors such as terrain, climatic conditions, obstructions and electromagnetic interference

This allows you to send the signal to other radios and warn about any imminent danger. You can also use the belt clip whistle to tell other people that you need help. Select the white LED configuration in the integrated flashlight to light your way during night activities, unexpected emergencies or power cuts. There are two ways to turn on your radio: use the NiMH rechargeable batteries included with up to 9 hours duration or use 3 AA batteries for up to 23 hours duration. To recharge the NiMH batteries, choose one of three ways: connect them to your vehicle adapter or computer. Or connect your load adapter to a Y-cable in a light light. This cable is equipped with dual microUSB connectors so you can load two radios at the same time. - Optional extended batteries
