With customer speeds capable of more than 500 Mbps and a access point capacity of up to 1.5 Gbps, it offers the speeds demanded by consumers and commercial users at a fraction of the cost of fibre delivery in the facilities.
The Mimosa N5-360 antenna is designed to match exclusively with the Mimosa A5c access point and incorporates 180-degree, overlapping vertical and horizontal antenna polarisations of four panels. The innovative antenna design increases performance by providing a balanced double-flow coverage at 360 degrees of acimut, taking advantage of the beam formation gain and extending the MicroPoP implementation range by up to 60% compared to Mimosa's integrated A5 solution. In response to customer demand of an extended frequency range, the N5-360 works from 4.9 GHz to 6.4 GHz without compromising performance.
Automatic supply along with Mimosa's installation application now drastically reduces the subscriber's installation time, automates device supply and allows the perfect integration of devices into an ISP network.
With the integrated high-precision GPS synchronization technology, new A5c sectors can be easily added to the existing Mimosa A5 and B5 implemented site and reuse the same channel. This saves valuable and scarce unlicensed spectrum resources when new A5c devices must be installed "back to back" on the same tower or post.
The exclusive integrated high-precision GPS synchronization technology in each Mimosa A5c allows all implemented devices to be tuned together throughout the network. This allows easy reuse of channels to save a valuable spectrum across the network and, along with Mimosa Cloud, it is incredibly easy to implement and optimize the use and performance of the network spectrum on all its implemented devices.
Multiplexed time-division access (TDMA) techniques have been shown to provide significant improvements by scaling up the number of customers, compared to carrier detection approaches used in Wi- Fi technologies. When it is further optimized by the dynamic allocation of time intervals and the compatibility with multi-user MIMO in the descending direction, and the allocation of ascending time intervals at the customer's request, the network scale, spectrum efficiency and the use of the access point are optimized to the maximum extent possible.
